Sheila is a Life Member with VFW Post 3788 Arnold Betcher Auxiliary, joining in 2010 on both the eligibility of her late husband, Greth Snyder (US Navy, Vietnam) and her father, Bertram Toor (US Army, WW2). 

Sheila served VFW Auxiliary 9578 as President (5x), receiving All State Aux President and Runner Up Aux President, Senior Vice President and Junior Vice President (1x each) and District 1 as Hospital Chairman, Color Bearer #1 (2 years) which included representation at Massing of the Colors at Balboa Park, Chaplain and Junior Vice President.

As Sheila completed her term as 9578 Auxiliary President, she and her auxiliary brothers and sisters successfully achieved #1 ranking for their membership division.  Sheila earned her master’s degree in Telecommunications with honors from National University.
